Ink Divine

About · Mina Absynthe

How I work.

The short version: dark ornamental tattoos and original oddity art, built one piece at a time, in a small studio in Colorado Springs. The longer version is below.

The practice.

Most of my work is freehanded. No stencil templates, no flash you'll see on someone else. We talk through your idea, you sit, and the piece gets drawn directly on your body and tattooed in the same session — sometimes across several.

I work mostly in black ink: dark ornamental, cybersigilism, gothic cathedral filler, full backs and full sleeves. Some color when the piece asks for it, but rarely.

Outside the studio, I make original oddity art — framed taxidermy, painted curios, small sculptural pieces. A few make it into the store when I have time to set them aside.

I take small bookings every few months. I travel for guest spots in Louisville, New Orleans, and a handful of conventions. The studio is by appointment only; address is shared once your session is on the calendar.

Studio practices

Sterile, single-use, licensed.

Single-use needles and supplies on every session. Studio is a Colorado Body Art Establishment licensed by CDPHE. Bloodborne pathogen training current. I take this seriously — your skin is the only canvas I get.

Reschedule anytime · cancel respectfully.

Reschedules with at least 72 hours' notice are free, and your deposit moves with you. Less than 72 hours, the deposit is forfeit and a fresh deposit is needed for the new date. No-shows forfeit the deposit and may not be rebooked.

If something serious comes up — illness, emergency, anything you'd want a friend to understand — message me. I'm a person, not a policy.
